Muzzleloader Hunt

Friday night after Kyle got off work we jumped in the truck and headed to the hills for the muzzleloader hunt (for me this time). No kids. No dog. Just the two of us for the entire weekend. Even though we ended up hiking our butts off almost every day it was like a small retreat, if you will, for me. No kids to feed, nobody to put to bed, no phone to answer, no dishes to wash, no fighting to try and resolve, and absolutely no cooking. Eventhough we didn't see anything "shootable" it was still very fun to get away and just enjoy each other. It reminded me a lot of when we were dating or just newly married and didn't have a care in the world. And a HUGE thank you to my sister and mom who generously filled in for us in our absence. We couldn't have done it without you. However, I got out of there without my camera this time (how, I don't know) so unfortunately, I don't have any pictures from our adventures.
