While playing with cousins and friends over at Aunt Bradi's house yesterday Weston either went to step on or jump to the coffee table from the couch and completely missed. Instantly we heard a horrific cry come from him and I knew something terrible had happened; his face was covered in blood. To say the least, I was panicked. As soon as we got home I had my dad come give him a once-over; to see if a trip to the ER was neccessary. After checking him out my dad said we would be fine to stay home and just monitor his eyes, but he did suffer a chipped front tooth, torn gums, a super fat lip, swollen face, and possibly a broken nose. Weston and I spent the remainder of the evening cuddling in the rocking chair.

First Major Accident

I was so nervous that his nose was broken because of how much it was bleeding. It is so scary when our kids get hurt, but I'm glad he is ok. :)
Poor guy! You never know how protective you can be of something until you have kids! I hate it when they are sick or hurt!

Oh that was so sad. I couldn't believe how much blood there was! I'm glad he's feeling better. Poor guy! :(
Poor little man! I am sure the cuddling helped both of you feel better-I know it helps when my kids get hurt.
This morning when I asked Landon how Bradi's house was all he could tell me was... Weston fell off the couch and there was blood everywhere, on the carpet all over his face... You know boys and the way they explain things :) I am glad he is okay!

I felt so bad when I saw his picture you sent me on the phone. I didn't get to see him until the next day and all he would tell me was that he got hurt, in his cute little voice! I am just glad that it didn't happen at my house and that my little westy man is gonna be okay!
