New Years Resolutions

I know this picture really has nothing to do with this post - but I couldn't find another one that would be fast to upload and honestly, I'm hungry and this looked good. Anways, I have always hated making resolutions because it seems as though I never follow through after day one. Well two weeks ago I was sitting in Relief Society and the lesson was on resolutions. And her advice was since everyday is a new beginning, get up that morning and commit yourself to one thing that day or that week instead of making a whole bunch of resolutions you know you won't be able to keep. So I thought about that and decided that this is something I am going to incorporate into my life this year, each day or each week. So instead of making a huge list of resolutions that is eventually going to get lost in my office I will choose something I am going to accomplish, whether it be something that is going to take me the week to complete or something simpler like reading a book to Weston that day. Hopefully I will be able to accomplish much more this way - only time will tell though.

love the picture with this post! Good for you on the resolution thing. I don't believe in making resolutions either. I figure you make a commitment to change things as they come along, not at a beginning of a new year. Love ya
