Well, school has officially started for my boys - it seems the days of sleeping in, being lazy and staying in our pj's until noon are a thing of the past (for now). I usually enjoy having my kids home so it's hard for me to see them go back to school. Colton is now in the 2nd grade with Mrs. Pollock and Payton is in 4th grade with Ms. Massey.
The first day of school I drove Colton and walked him to his classroom. Payton was "too cool" for that and just had to ride the bus in order to get a decent assigned seat, but I ended up popping my head into his class before school started so I could meet his teacher and see where he sat.
After lunch that day, Westy and I made them a sign and some snicker doodle cupcakes (simply the best). So when they got home that afternoon they got to enjoy a little treat while I listened to them tell me what the first day was all about.
I'm excited to see what this school year brings and eager to see how well they do.

It's fun that Brooklyn and Colton get to be in the same class. :)
I love payt's face in his pic holding the sign. He looks less than thrilled! LOL ;) what cute kids!!! Wish I could have had one of those cupcakes too! yum
payt was complaining of it being too bright, but we were in the shade - so i think it was a bit of a rebellious issue
