Way back in December I entered a contest on Lisa Bearnson's blog. . . and if any of you do any sort of scrapbooking you probably know who she is (she started creating keepsakes magazine). Anyways, to make a long story short, I was the winner. Yes, me; I was picked to receive this awesome package of goodies! So I waited and waited for it to arrive in the mail - and it never came so I eventually ended up e-mailing her husband back thinking that he never received my mailing address. Well she was the one who ended up responding and sent out another package; which I received a few weeks ago. Come to find out - someone was going through my mail at the post office and thought they deserved it more than me and ended up taking the first package and then rummaging their grimy little hands through my second package (ggrrr). All in all I ended up with tons of delish scrapbooking supplies and she sent the sweetest little card with it. . . . I love give-aways! Now I just need to squeeze in more scrapbooking time so I can use it all.Wednesday, April 28, 2010

ok - fun for you to win - and RUDE of the people at the post office!! You should file a complaint with the manager, cause, hello - messing with the mail is a federal offense...boogers! Waiting to see what fun projects you do with all your new treasures :)

she was asking for people to make christmas cards that included a 1.00 bill and send them to a young boy back east that was dying of cancer - so thats all I did.
